Lol yea i want LED

...i went on their site....

I dont know what would be right for my tank....

2 x 36" diy led strips with dimmers?

Or one of the specific freshwater fixtures?
And whats the difference between the original and xb models?

And would these require chillers?

Definitely two strips. One wasn't quite enough for my 65g that's 24" deep. Good PAR at that depth, but not very good coverage (with 75* angle). Plants are apparently loving the spectrum, however.

Beauty of this company is you call and speak with the owner and tell him exactly what your needs/wants are out of the light and they build it to your setup!! It's really the way to go.. if you want out of the box less expensive lighting check out finnex or current sat +

Yea sorry

$300 for 2x36" <<<<canadian dollars

...id save on shipping, guaranteed to get it and if theres any issues i could deal with them face to face, which would be nice

Is that a decent price? I can call to find out how many watts

Yah, it sounds ok if the lights will grow you some med light plants, you should really try to figure out its par rating.. I'd suggest 2 finnex ray 2 if those arnt going to cut it and you want to stay around $300..

With the satellite fixture

@ 24" the par rating is 21

Is that too low for my specific plants to thrive?

No, I think what you have will do ok.but I'd still recommend more.bang for your buck..
