long eared sunfish

I saw them today at my LFS. Anyone have experience with these beauties?

Very similar to cichlids.. Prefer live foods but they can be trained to take cichlid pellets.

Sunfish are very similar to bluegill, which are everywhere.

If you get one, I'd be very cautious about what you put in the tank with it. I think of bluegill as the "American Pirahna" because they can be vicious!
