lowering rocks into fish tank

I just purchased several large rocks (20+ lbs each) for my existing 340gal african cichlid tank. My tank is about 32in high. What can I use to safely lower the rocks onto my tank? Note: tank is up and running and fully stocked.

Maybe some nylon cargo straps?

Maybe use a length doubled up of cheese cloth as a sling to lower the rock to the bottom.

It's probably too late, but I like using egg crates below the substrate when hardscaping with heavy rocks.
