I had a tank with some galaxy rasboras. Two weeks ago, I moved the fish and broke down the tank. I left the substrate, but put a layer of sand over the top. I added new plants and refilled the tank, but forgot to put the heater in for a few days. Today I turned on the light and found three tiny baby fish. I can only assume that they're galaxies, but how did they even survive, and what do I do now?

Feed them. Grind some of your fish food into dust. Put a heater back in too.

Thanks. The heater has been back in for over a week, it was just a few days that it was out. And it's 75 in my house all the time, so it wasn't too cold. And I did throw some crushed flakes in there this morning because it was the only thing I could think of.

I had this happen a month or two ago. The fish in my main tank had spawned. I had no idea. I trimmed some plants and moved them to an outside grow tank. Shocked me when I spotted fish in there.
