Male or female guppy?

I kinda want to try my hand at some casual guppy breeding to see and have my male. This is a younger guppy we have in my girlfriends tank which I believed before to be female. But maybe it's a male with the more snakeskin body? Thoughts?

Not much, my best female has color on all fins but you don't typically see much body color.

Saweeeet! Lol I was just going to experiment on how things could change. But would colours even change if the two guppies were different colours/strains? Or is it more about tail shape and etc?

Colors can definitely change, i started with a gupppy/endler hybrid. I just had one of my spawns finish coloring up and a few of the fish have totally different colors. 2 of them look like little rainbows. The tail is a bit things to people look for. Keep in mine you can switch male/female but unless its a virgin female you would see the new males offspring for several months.
