Marigold Swordtails are worse than Guppies. LOL

Just about every month, I find babies swimming around in my tank. I have two females and one male and now I'm starting to find them every two weeks.

And I thought Guppies were bad.

It's kinda cool, but it's getting to be to the point where I'm just letting them be in the tank to either hide themselves very well or become somebody's snack or maybe pick a few to keep. Otherwise I would just have overcrowded tanks and all the fish would eventually die.

At one point I had about 110 baby Marigold Swordtails swimming around in a ten gallon tank before selling them to the LFS. About 60 of them were from the first run and the rest were born a month later.

Any of the livebearers seem to become baby factories with ease and once they get going...before you know it, you're running a nursery...LOL.

From experience, put something in to eat the excess babies. They are more trouble than they are worth.
