Does anyone know how they mate? As my male is chasing the females and wondering what I can look for to see if he is trying to mate?

My male guppy is constantly chasing te ladies in the tank (and the tetras too! :/ )
He'll kind of shimmy in front of the showing off, and then he'll swim at them from the side. You see the pointy fin underneath at the base of his tail? He'll swing that forward as he makes his move.

His chasing behavior is part of the mating game guppies play.

When she is more receptive, you should see them swimming fairly close together, with his tail somewhat curved around hers, with much fluttering.

Does the male kind of turn upside down? As if there tryin to get to the females back fin

They kinda just brush past the female, side to side, I think in that moment he impregnates her. You can check on youtube as well, "guppy mating" you get to see their dance show to impress the female as well.

Do you plan to keep some of the eventual fry?
