I just got back from a 5-day vacation for Thanksgiving and did a major (70%) pwc since my tanks (5g and 2.5) are so small. I noticed some nematodes that were stirred up and wriggling around. Frustrated, I tried to scoop them all out as best as I could with a net, but my Boraras naevus micro-rasboras got to quite a few of them. They seem to enjoy them as a live food source, but I want to err on the side of caution because I don't know if they really are nematodes, or if they're some kind of other freshwater worm or even a parasite. Is it safe for the fish to eat them?

They look just like this. http://theaquariumwiki.com/images/thumb/e/e4/Nematodes1.jpg/200px-Nematodes1.jpg

No, but their bellies seem a little lighter than usual.

Nematode worms! They are harmless. My betta eats them. Lol.
