Hi evryone.
I have a 57g freshwater and currently have 6 different types of cory in the tank.
When researching about cories all i read is that they should be kept in groups of 4 to 6 or more.
Is it ok to keep large schools of different types?
I have 4 Pygmys, 1 Bronze, 1 Aldofoi, 1 Sterbai, 1 Melini, 1 Bandit.
They all group and school together and to me there appears to be no problems.
Any thoughts.......

In my experience it didn't work! I had 4 different kinds at one point - 3 Sterbai, 3 Pandas, 3 Peppered, 3 Jullii.

They seemed okay at first but soon only swam with their own before I started losing them. The smallest went until only left with Peppered and Sterbai!

It works for some but mine started to compete for food. I think I had too much on the bottom of the tank with SAE's as well!

they need to be in groups of cories that are the same size at least in order for things to be successful long term.

They are all similar size....apart from the Pygmys.
As for feeding they all take there fair share on sinking pellets although the Bronze does always without fail find the food first!!
