Neither of those two do anything other than make the water smell good. I'd just keep a good supply of dechlor and maybe a can of salt in case you get ich. Once I figured out that melafix and pimafix did essentially nothing, salt is the only thing I've used with the exception of jungle parasite tabs once when I (and other members) suspected an internal parasite in one of my fish.
I couldn't find any jungle meds, so I bought prazipro for internal parasites. Its unopened and ready to be used for my upcoming new fish! I like jungle ich guard when I see ich on my fish. Garlic is nice to have too in some situations.
