I'm moving soon and have 2 aquariums that have to go with me with a total of 15 fish to move. I'm just not sure of the best way to keep them alive on a 1400 mile trip! Any help will be appreciated.

How long is the trip gonna be?

I'm thinking you meant time wise? How many hours or days?

I've suggest on shorter drives a styrofoam cooler with a heater suspended from the lid and air stone run by an inverter plugged in the cigarette port. If this is overs days I'm not sure

Any possibility to have the new tank set up prior? Otherwise you'll be doing a fish in cycle and that a lot of fish to do a fish in cycle

Whats the best container for transport.

Styrofoam cooler are the best way to transport fish. Keeps them in the dark and is efficient on maintaining heat. It also has soft sides to prevent injury from accidental bumping. Don't feed the fish a day or two prior to moving as that will help keep the waste down as well
