Hi my fellow fish keepers! I have been in the hobby since June of this year. Over the course of a few months, i acquired quite a few tanks. Properly cycled all my tanks and the fishes are thriving.
When it came time to move some fishes from one tank to another, i always do the 1hr drip acclimation. With all my tanks having the same water parameters, temp and ph, i always wonder will it be okay to just net the fish out of one tank and tossing him/her in? If the shock is too much, i will stick to the 1 hr acclimation.

Hi and welcome! I wouldn't bother acclimating, too much stress on the fish IMO. I move mine around and haven't had an issue.

I agree acclamation not necessary. If both tanks have the same water; should be easier and faster just to transfer them.
