Murky water solutions???

Sooo, my water looks murky, its not cloudy, just seems almost like a few shades darker if that makes any sense. All water parameters are in the norm, just did a PWC and shook out my filters in the old aquarium water, a lot of brown did come out I'm hoping i just needed to rinse the filters out. Anyone have any suggestions...???

Do you have adequate filtration for your tank? have you recently added any driftwood?

Did you test your water parameters? Ammo in the water can make it cloudy and a bit yellower.

Its a 55 gal, with a bio-wheel 350. I added driftwood 3 weeks ago, but it doesn't have the tannins color. Almost like a thicker look.

well if you dont think its the driftwood and your waters all fine you said, then maybe it was just dirty filters, if so you should know soon...

Have you tested for ammonia?
