My blue gourami has black spots on it?

Does anyone know what might cause this? I put in 6 Chinese Algae eaters. Could they cause this? I have a 55 gallon tank.

What are the water parameters? All tank mates? Can you post a picture of these dots?

No, that is what he looked like when I got him. Now he has several small spots on other places. I will try to get a picture. This forum is new to me so I will try to figure how to do photos.

Like hickies? Yes the CAE could cause that. You are going to experience some major issues as they mature. CAE are territorial and nasty fish. With 6 there will be problems sooner rather than later. They will only eat algae as youngsters so I suggest you rehome them ASAP.
