My fish ate some old food.

Well while trying to replace the light in my aquarium hood I knocked down the filter and then some of the flakes I was feeding my tank while there were no fish in it got knocked into the water again, and my betta ate them. -facepalm-. will this make him sick. They were at least 24 hours old and I know bacteria starts growing on them in like 10 minutes or so.

He should be fine as long as everything else about your tank is in tiptop shape.

Bettas sure are pigs, but I love them.

I would think he'll be fine. Fish eat all the microorganisms growing in the tank anyway.

Bettas are pretty hardy.

Everything else is good. I was just worried cus sometimes the slightest things can effect a fish. but the temp is at 79 consistently and I jumped the gun and did a 25% water change anyways just to make sure there was fresh water for him.
