my new fish!!!!--Name the fish

Today I got a new fish because all my tests were perfect!!!! I ended up getting a powder blue dwarf gourami!!!! He is really awesome. He doesn't have a name yeat though Any suggestions? I was thinking Peter :P


Also is there any way to tell a male from a female powder blue gourami?

all females are a brownie bronze, they dont exibit the same bright colours as the males.

ok because I read somewhere that the top fins are rounded for the females and pointed for the males(in gouramis). Maybe this is wrong!!! My gourami has rounded fins but has a light blue color with a LITTLE red. (not as much as the regular dwarf)

No you are right bettagirl. I have female gourami's that are colorful, not as colorful as the males but still quite colorful. The fins are the way to sex gourami's.

ooooo..then I have a female and I just named him Peter...LOL..oh well
