My pleco is eating the cuttlebone

Should I tell him to knock it off? Will it hurt him? Itís for the golden mystery snail.

If he has driftwood to rasp on then he is just choosing his likes..
If he doesn't have wood he needs it.
The cuttlebone should cause no trouble IMO.
