Unless they have reclassified the genus latley, the genus name is Archocentrus.

ah well, dang google--found the other name first but went and put that one in too and got convicts, i don't have a reference book--is there an official site that has the names?

Well there are several references, but the simple fact is the fish could have been reclassified, several times in the past few years. For S/W fish, I use Dr. Burgess' Atlas, for ID, but I know there have been several fish reclassified since I bought mine 8O So whatever reference you use...make sure it is the latest edition possible
