It's like an organ for the plant, it's where all the leaves originate, you'll see it, it's a bright green thing where the leaves connect, you can't burry that, or the plant will die

I... guess. After you unbury it I would tie it to a piece of drift wood for a few weeks and allow it to anchor itself.

It will, but slowly. I started with 1 plant about 8 months ago and am now up to around 10. Possibly a few more, I haven't split any new plants off of my main 1 in a while.
