Need a bit of help with my aquarium project

For one of the parts of our aquarium project, we gotta make fact sheets for each species of fish and I need help with scientific names of mollies... I have a creamsicle and dalmatian molly and I just want to clearify if they have specific scientific names or not or if I have to just use any old regular molly name like sailfin or whatever (so boring! lol) but I just wanna check first cuz I can't find anything on the net XP unless I just suck at searching which is entirely possible.

What's kinda funny though is, I have a full sheet about bettas already and i hardly looked at a book to get the information so I asked my teacher if that was a good or bad thing and she JOKINGLY told me that was a bad thing and that I need mental help lol

research under those names. I think the latipinna is the dalmation.
