Hi, I've got one Paradise Gourami in my tank and would like to get a buddy for him/her. The way he carries on, I suspect he's a male as he likes to flirt with our gold female gourami.
I've heard that two males will really go to it so I don't want to make a mistake and get the wrong sex. Besides, my tank is 30" deep and catching fish is not easy.
Here are some pictures. I couldn't catch em with his fins spread out. He seems to always look like this.
