Need help with duckweed!
So I forgot the key aspect of duckweed being a floating plant and it being pushed down by the filter. will it settle over time or what should i do?

Most of us corral the floaters. I use strips of plastic canvas with suction cups on the ends. Just place them across the tank in front of the outflow. Also works to slow down the outflow if you use a bigger piece of plastic canvas.
