Need new filter

Looking for recommendation for an external canister filter that takes no special filter parts. (one to just dump bulk media in) & need one that won't break the bank.

30 gal tank I currently have a Fluval internal filter it is a pain to find the carbon pads that go in it. At least 1/2 the time I go to buy them the store is out.

If you're looking for a cheap canister filter, I don't think you can go wrong with a Sunsun. They are found on Ebay. You don't need to run carbon pads all the time, I only use mine after I'm finished treating with meds.

I was just on Ebay & saw some of those. Aquarium Adventure recommended an Aqua Top so I was looking to see if they were cheaper on Ebay than in the store. I'll have to go back & take a second look at these.

I'm pretty sure that the Sunsuns are just rebranded Aquatops.

Yes the Aqua Tops & the Sunsuns look exactly alike,the Sunsuns are a little cheaper .
