I am getting new carpet tomorrow, and new tile. I have a 55G tank with 2 mollies, 2 guppies, 3 tetra, and a baby pleco. I was wondering if putting them in a bucket for 2 days would be ok while I get new carpet. It sounds mean, but I'm open to ideas ASAP!

i think you might be able to pull it off if its a really big bucket and if you have an air pump.

Things happen..... Can you hook up your filter to the bucket? You don't want your media to dry out.

you could have bought a 10 gallon tank from petco for like $13 and filled it with the aquarium water and gravel and if the filter isnt powerful on its lowest setting you could put that on the ten gallon for the day. besides the pleco those 6 fish could live in a 10 gallon.
