needlenose gar

Does anyone have any experience with needle nose gar? What are their requirements, PH, etc., etc.,? I am thinking about these for a 60 gallon tank in the future. Would they be alright in there? any help woould be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure that a 60gal would be large enough. They can get rather large/long.

Well the thing is, they had them at petsmart but they weren't called needlenose gar, I forget what they were called, and it said that they only got 10" long? I will do a search.

THey call them Needlefish at Petsmart, but I believe they are the same thing.
