Hi I have a neon tetra who isn't moving much. When she swims she swims sideways sometimes. Also when she is still and close to the bottom of tank shes like about to fall over then regains control.

Have a look at pics.

Her underside looks bloated to me. Edit: I looked again there is a white bulge on her underside...

What can I do?

I read some peas will do the trick if it's a bladder problem. None in the house. What other vegetable will do?

I don't know what happened. It all happened so quick. The neon tetra didn't make it. It had a bulging white bubble on the bottom/side of its body. And soon as I seen the tetra floating around the tank going with the current and others nipping at it, the tetra was dead. I didn't see a white bulge on it earlier on at all. Say 5 hours ago. This just happened in the last few hours. It didn't have any control of its swimming and didn't look like it was breathing. All the other fish like Molly's were nipping at the tetra as it was going with the current.
