I want to add a school of neon tetras to my 10g but my ph is 8.2 even with driftwood. I know neon tetras like a lower ph but will they be fine in my tank? If not what should I do? Thanks for the help.

Unless the pH is seriously out of whack most fish will adapt to pH conditions.

Might have a slight obsession with my fish

That is what I was thinking. So they should be fine?

If your water is from the tap and your LFS is local it's likely their water is close to the same pH.

Caleb

~10g tiger barbs
~45g tetras/dojo loach/clown pleco
~75g going to be African cichlids
