Neon tetra questions

There's no real way to tell from the picture, but they look like they're out and active, which is a good sign. Do you know how long they've been in his tank?

He said that they've been in the tank for about a week. He recently got a shipment of neons, and green neon tetras. I think I might buy three next week and see how it goes.

It's not a bad idea to wait one extra week after looking at some fish in a shop, just to make sure they stay healthy.
