New 3 Gal Picotope

Hi guys I just have a quick question and was hoping someone could help me out. I just picked up a 3 gal Picotope for my desk and it comes with a small hob filter. I was wondering how long I would need to run this filter on my 15gal that has been set up for about 18 months now, so that I could skip cycling this small tank. Thanks in advance.

I would run it for atlease 2 weeks but preferably a month.

I would say 1 month.

I'd say a month as well. Although you might wanna let it cycle for it least a couple days just to make sure it's stable. Just add a pinch of food each day once you add the filter. What are you planning on keeping in a tank this size?

Going to use it first to quarintine 3 card tetra to finish stocking my 15 gal. Then most likly going to put some low light plants a male betta and some shrimp (will see if he kills/eats them). Thanks for the help will wait a month with it running on my other tank.
