New 45 gallon African cichlid tank

Hi, I am looking to stock my new 45 gallon talk fish tank. I've talked to a friend of mine who is kind of an expert with Africans and he has about 25 peacocks and haps in a 90 gallon. He told me that I shouldn't have an issues keeping an all male peacock tank in my 45 with about 10 fish. However what I've seen online has said different than his advice. What do you all think? Could I get an all male peacock tank done in a tall 45 with VERY good filtration? Thanks!!
