New fish aren't eating

I just got some guppies and put them in a new tank I have and they don't know the routine of feeding like my other fish so when I put food in, they don't come up to eat. has anyone else had this problem or does anyone have any ideas about how to get them to eat? Its been a couple days and I don't want them to get too hungry.

They will figure it out eventually. If you’re using floating food try submerging some of it so that it sinks.
