Hi. I just getting ready to set up a 29gl with plants. I have flourish that was recommended. But a think I read somewhere that you were not supposed run charcoal in you filter. If true my filter has cartridges what do I replace it with? Is there a certain media to replace it with? Thanks for the help. David

You could go out and buy polyfilter pads and stick them in there or you can save your money and just cut the filter pads you have now and take out as much as you can.
