New tank with sand but the water is to cloudy

Pool filter sand or pool leveling sand. I used the filter sand in both of mine and was clear in a matter of minutes. Almost looked like play sand at first. That stuffs garbage lol

Yea it was like light brown and then turn to white . I like it !

Im starting with it I just got it from craiglist

The only thing I can come up with is the glass. Maybe it's a little dirty?

Is very clean is almost new

It sounds like a cycling bloom or "new tank syndrome" it can sometimes take up to a week for it to clear. It is very common in new tanks just requires a bit of patience and it will clear up on its own.
