Night lights

Do you guys run blue lights at night or pitch black it?
I usually let it go black but last night I turned on the blue lights and it looked nice but also seemed to confuse the fish. What do you all feel is better?

Pitch black. It certainly looks amazing with a blue spot light but its better for fish to have it full black so they can feel safe and sleep.

My LED's have several lunar settings; Full Moon, Half Moon and Crecent Moon. I vary it up nightly. The fish suffer no apparent ill effects. Each fish retreats to its own sleeping cave, crevace or DW piece.

I run Finnex Planted + leds on my tanks and they are set on 24/7 so there are night time lights just like the moon lights up the waters for fish.
