Urgent need help !

Okay I did a 50% water change as I'm going to the beach in the morning for 10 days wanted to make sure my tank was set and my ph I never test for because well not much I can do about it...

Here is what I tested for

Ammonia 0ppm

nitrite 0ppm

Nitrate 5.0ppm

What should I do?

Never mind I'm half asleep nitrate isn't dangerous at that level and if I got rid of it completely my java ferns would suffer just hope its not spiking to some crazy number while I'm gone

If you've got a heavily planted tank you shouldn't have to worry about nitrates getting too high.

I've seen people complaining that they don't have enough!

Have fun on your vacation, don't worry about the tank, and bring us back some souvenirs! :p
