NLS cichlid formula for betta/goldfish?

I have a large 10 oz jar of NLS cichlid formula that I bought a few months ago. I don't want it to go to waste (I've only used 5-10% of it) so is it possible to feed it to a betta/goldfish? My mother is feeding her fish wardley goldfish and top fin betta pellets. I figured anything NLS would be better than those.

A lot of the ingredients are the same for NLS's betta/goldfish specialized food, so I'm thinking it wouldn't be an issue. Just wanted to double-check.
