No enough space?

Is 3 platys, an african dwarf frog and 2 amano shrimp to much for 16 gallon tank?
I have been told not to trust aqadvisor.com

Yes that is not fully stocked at all! Maybe even add another ADF or two as they seem a lot happier in groups

If you set it up well, you will soon have plenty of platys to fill it up!

Yes mudraker is right! If you have a male and two females you will have planets of fry soon!

Not overstocked, although you will probably have fry coming out of your ears eventually.

As for aqadvisor - I have found that it is a decent baseline, but it is a good idea to get a second opinion. So, not something to totally disregard but also not something to entirely base your stocking off of. I have also found it is particularly bad at smaller tanks.

Thanks to everyone. My platys are all females for the same reason lol. I'm not prepared for fry yet.

They could already be pregnant if they were ever with males but if not your stock is fine!

Yes to another platy, and Jen ^ is correct about pregnant. In fact they are most likely pregnant already.
