no food for 2 days.. fish ok?

I have to leave town for 2 days. I will feed my fish before I leave.. which will be friday night.. T hey will have no food for saturday and I will return sunday nite.. Will they be ok with no food for these days? THanks so much..

They can go a week or even a little more - not recommended but possible.

Don't worry about them- they'll be fine! And it's better than those vacation feeders which IME cause a LOT of detrius =ammonia spike. :|

I agree they should be fine. I just did a fri-sat-sun no feeding myself on both my 58 and my 8 gal. They were all happy when I returned..

Also DON'T overfeed them when you come back
