No room for HOB filter

So I got this new 55 gallon tank and got it all set up and filled with water and then I realized I didn't leave enough room for a filter to hang on the back. I'd really prefer to not hang one on the side or front. Are there any other filters I could get that I don't have to hang on the back for a tank this big?

Canister filter just require tubing to fit down the back or side and are infinitely better than HOB anyway.

Oh and I would also prefer not to move the tank. Any suggestions are welcome

canister is your best bet, they are very quiet and efficient

or a nice big sponge filter on one side and a powerhead on the other
