Not sure for new fish

I have a 55 gallon tank that I'm currently cycling and i am trying to to decide what type of fish to get
It's just a room tank not a show case or anything but ill like some fish that are colorful and under 10$ a fish

Pearl Gouramis or angelfish with glow light tetras would be nice with some corydoras

The Green Severum is a good large fish as it's not extremely aggressive but can handle much more aggressive fish. Gouramis are good as mid size and Tetras for smaller sizes. Check this site for your research. Aquarium Fish: Tropical Freshwater Fish and Saltwater Fish for Home Aquariums Good luck.

Ok thank you I think I'm going to go with 1 common pleco mabey 2 cories 10 rommynose Tetras and 1 green severus and a firemouth
Mabey something different
With that combo I'm scared that it will look awkward with 2 big fish and the rest small

Skip the common pleco and look for a bristlenose. Commons get way too big for a 55g.
