Now I seem to be on a test kick!

Well, you know, I was wondering about the content of my water. Well, I have some test strips right? So, I decided to do an experiment. First I am testing tap water...straight out of the faucet with nothing at all added to it. My results are:

Nitrate - 10
Nitrite - 0
Hardness - 75
Alkatinity - 120
PH - 7.2

Now I am thinking I might add some declorifier and then wait a few and take another reading....so here I go...
Alrighty after I added the decloriifier I get these results:

Nitrate - 0
Nitrite- 0
Hardness - 75
Alkalinity - 80
PH - 7.8

Next step is too add some EasyBalance and see what it reads....

Nitrate - 5 (Maybe)
Nitrite - 0
Hardness - 75
Alkalinity - 60
PH - 7.2

Well I will prob test some more but it looks pretty good for my tank if I keep doing pwc over the next few days
