I don't think so. I believe the start at a minimum f 50 gallons
 
FRESHWATER bumble bee gobies aren't commonly found where I am. You have to be careful though because there is 3 species? Two are brackish and 1 is true freshwater.
 
Elephant nose fish require 50 gallon tanks and mine don't well with tank mates.
 
I was going to suggest the bumble bee gobies as well. Dwarf Puffers or red eye puffers. What about a the colored lobsters?
 
the hill stream loaches look cool. I have never kept them.

If you wanted to do SW that opens up a bunch of Gobies, shrimp, and cabs.

I almost forgot pygmy sunfish those are really unique. I am not even sure where to get them
