Aquarium Advice Freak
I've been watching this last batch of fry for the past month now. Turns out, I can't tell which ones are going to grow up to be guppies, and which will be platies. They just look sooooo similar. One in particular, I thought must be the progeny of my blonde guppy - looked EXACTLY the same as her. Three weeks later, it turns out to be another sunset platy. (and yes, I'm 99.9% sure it is the same fish I started watching - it's the only fry that ever hid in that particular decoration) How does a blonde guppy turn into an orange platy? Maybe the colour was just really faded when I found her. Who knows. I'll keep watching fry and get good at this eventually!
