opinions wanted!!!

im redoing my 55 gallon tank im doing like a south east asia theme..gouramis loaches and i want to know what smaller like schooling fish ..tetra? should i get to dwell mid water?? all ideas are welcome and appreciated

Tetras are not asian they are either sa or ca, I forget. I thijnk white clouds are from asia although they are coldwater.

Most barbs and rasboras are from s. and se asia.
