As some of you know I am planning a huge outdoor tank next year and was planning on some oscars as 1 of the many ideas i'v had, but is there anything similar in temperament and attitude, only thing it needs to be is big because I will defiantly be getting some type of big predatory catfish,

If I had to pick I'd start with Green Sevrem, Tinfoil Barbs, Texas Chiclids, Banded Leporinus, Bala Shark. Others to consider Siamese Tigerfish, Redfin Prochilodus, Peacock Bass, Jack Dempsey's, Managuense Cichlid, Arowana.

+1 on the arowana but the top has to be 100% covered and arowanas can jump up to three times their length

Already had some sort of arowana planned, I'm thinking more similar to an Oscar in terms of size and character but something not quite as common.

Peacock bass look cool, are they hard to keep? And I have never seen them here before so idk if I can get them here in the uk...
