hi guys i been having problems with api products to bring down my ph . can anyone tell me iother ways to bring it down?

im setting up a tank for discus and want the ph around 6.0 - 6.5 but my water out the taps is 8.7 .

would ro water be better ? would bogwood or driftwood help ?

any info would be great

How did you test your water?

I would not use ph changing products, just mix some RO water with tap water to make sure you still have minerals in the tank.
