Painting back of fish tank

After painting the back of tank a few weeks ago my water dosent look crystal clear.. Everyone in my house says im nuts and its clear but i think it looked clearer before painting.. Its painted flat black.. Happen to anyone else?

Nope, a background will not have any effect on water clarity. At least, not one on the outside of the tank.

What type of paint did you use and how did you apply it I want to paint the back of my tank too

Did you paint the back of the glass, or the inside of the tank?? If it's on the outside, there is no way it is affecting your water clarity... if it's on the inside, well then you have a whole host of other problems

Use a couple lighter colors - light blue and white - for a mucho better looking tank - trust me!

What type of paint and and do you apply with a roller?

could the spray paint have somehow gotten into the tank, or filter by chanceÉ

I used flat black gave it a few coats.. Make sure you let it dry and dont rush it.. U dont wanna attach your filters to wet paint on the back..

*** update tank is crystal clear***
Used a little water clarifier
