So today I picked up a peacock eel, and am currently housing him in my 30 gallon. He's been semi inactive and hiding, I'm wondering if this is normal? Also he has what seems to be some kind of injury I think on the bottom of his side I'm wondering what this is and if I should be concerned, also he has not burrowed into the ground once and I'm wondering if that's ok.
I did manage to see him eat a blood work which I'm hoping is a good sign. Any advice or knowledge will help thanks!

But then if you look closely at his picture that's his injury I hope it's ok and I'm not sure what caused it or if he already had it, please help me figure out what it is and if there's anything else I should do. IMG_0860.jpgIMG_0859.jpgIMG_0862.jpg

I managed to get a better picture as well as he looks like he is rubbing his injury on things.
