Trying to treat BBA on plastic plants - hubby is a chronic overfeeder with lights on14 hrs daily - up until now just replaced them when it got too bad as they are only dollar store specials but I forgot that summer trailing plants would be packed away for Xmas stuff etc and am stuck with what I have til the new seasonal stuff comes in. So now I need a method to kill this stuff. I know you can spot treat with peroxide so I am hoping a good soaking will allow me to reuse these. I *assume* I should rinse well after maybe with a water conditioner too?

Soaking should kill the BBA.
No real worry about thorough rinsing .Any residual would not effect the tank.
You just want to get the stuff off before you put back.
It will turn red then grey.
May need to soak for a day or so if you don't scrub them.
