All sorts of things will affect pH in a tank. Are you saying that your tapwater pH is higher than 7.2 and that's what it drops to after a while in the tank? Or are you saying that measures to raise pH arent working?

Hey. Yes it running about 7.6. But every week it keeps going down. What is the correct pH? I ready it should be about 7.8 or higher. But it is running between 7.2 and 7.6 and my fish seem happy so I'm not sure if I should try to raise it.
